The Build: Mobile vs Mortar

We often get asked, why mobile? There are so many reasons why someone might want to do a mobile unit for a coffee shop or any other sort of hospitality service we do and we can give you a few reasons why!

1) Maybe you have an amazing concept for a brick and mortar but you want to try your hand at running a business first with a lower cost of investment. This allows you to iron out kinks and ideas before fully committing to a stay-in-place brick and mortar!

2) “We love (XYZ city) but my spouse's job could move us and I would have to sell and re-locate!” Well, just make sure you don't forget to hitch up your trailer and you're good to go (of course checking with codes to wherever you move and getting permits and all that stuff).

3) Sometimes seasonal is better. Let's say you love your job AND also coffee, ice cream, boba, etc, and there is a busy season with work but in the summers you find yourself assisting with events or helping other people run their business when you could be doing yours! It's a weekend thing, maybe just events booked, only summers, holidays....it’s up to you since you get to set your schedule!
