An Aero Fabricator is an employee who works alongside the leadership team to govern the general construction crew while reporting to the Director of Manufacturing and CEO. This position will be flexible in handling a variety of duties that pertains to the Aero Build construction process.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Fabricator job description encompasses everything related to the construction of a new trailer or another type of construction or the renovation of an existing one. Fabricator responsibilities include coordinating with management and subcontractors, including electricians, plumbers and interior designers. Responsibilities also include dealing with emergencies, and ensuring every part of the build is up to the Aero Build standard. These skills are necessary whether you oversee the entire construction or just a part of a project, such as framing or electrical.

Essential job functions are;

- Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, blueprints, and work instructions.

- Maintain an approachable demeanor towards the position’s direct reports.

- Review project progress on a daily basis.

- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.

- Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems.

- Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.

- Work towards continuous improvement in the shop.

- Work with company leadership to make the most fiscally responsible decisions on behalf of ABC.

- Maintain standard of quality in the shop.

- Keep work orders/paperwork stamped, dated, and organized.

- Ensure work areas are clean and organized.

- Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.

Salary expectations: Competitive compensation will be based on experience, with opportunities for advancement as you develop your skills. Our fabricators start at $51,000/yr.
